Buddha Bear

On our morning walk, Buddha Bear was waiting for our return after being left alone on the side of the road by his canine companion, Libby. They were both elated to be reunited again after being apart for 35 minutes.


Visiting a friend in England, he and I were investigating a hole in his newly laid lawn, upon which I looked over a stone wall bordering the property and discovered this rabbit attempting to look innocent.


One summer, on a lazy afternoon, I was enjoying the sights of the ocean from a boat dock
when I looked down to see an angel looking back at me.


While hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, this looked like an average tree from one angle; but after taking a few steps, I looked up and saw this. Amazing what a change in perspective can reveal.


Walking our dog, Libby, on the beach one autumn afternoon,
my husband, Bob, and I happened upon this seeming miracle.


During a severe winter ice storm at our home in Maine, which left us without power for several days,
our 21-year-old cat, Pesky, found warmth by the fireplace.
